These shelf stable, high energy and healthy Energy bars are perfect for your next adventure, whether it be a hunting trip, a family hike or just a snack for a busy day in the garden, they will be sure to keep your blood sugar levels stable and your energy high.
Elissa's Adventure Energy Bars
1.25 Cups Peanut Butter (One and a quarter cups or 375g)
1/2 Cup raw Honey
Melt ingredient together and mix well
3/4 cup shredded Coconut
1/6 cup Sunflower seeds
1/6 cup Chia seeds
1/6 cup Flax seeds
1/2 cup Raisins
Mix well
2.5 cups rolled Oats (Two and a half cups)
Mix well
Put mixture in a 20cm square tin, pat down to compress and flatten.
Refrigerate 1 hour
Slice up
Refrigerate another hour if required
Store in an air tight container and enjoy.
