When you introduce a new, young Muscovy drake to an established flock it can take a little time for him to settle in.
He needs to get to know his new location, the routine; the other Muscovy ducks and in my flock, chickens too.
As he settles in and matures, he will fit in nicely and be fully accepted into the flock of Muscovy ducks and chooks.
And soon enough he will start fertilizing the duck eggs and we will be able to have ducklings again.
Happy homesteading
